Savings Accounts from Farmers & Merchants Bank & Trust are available to anyone living in the Wisconsin counties of Marinette and Oconto and the County of Menominee in Michigan.Statement Savings
- Minimum to Open: $25
- Average Daily Balance to avoid fee: $50. If account falls below minimum, there will be a $1 quarterly service fee
- This is an interest-bearing account
- Interest compounded and paid quarterly
- ATM card or a link to a MasterMoney Card is available
- Only six pre-authorized, automated, telephone or Online Banking transfers during any calendar month
- A statement of account activities is provided monthly.
Christmas Savings
- Minimum to Open: $10
- This is an interest-bearing account
- Principal and interest are paid, by check, on the last day of October of each year
- Any withdrawal made, other than the final payout, will be assessed a charge of $1.00
- Pre-authorized, automated, telephone or Online Banking transfers are not allowed with this account
- A statement of account activities is provided quarterly
Junior Savings
- Open to any Saver 18 years of age or younger
- Minimum to Open: $10
- No service charges
- No minimum balance requirement
- This is an interest-bearing account
- Interest compounded and paid quarterly
- A statement of activities is provided monthly
- When the minor(s) for whom the account has been opened attains the age of eighteen (18), the account will be reclassified as a Statement Savings. The account will then be subject to all the rules and charges in effect at that time for a Statement Savings account.
