* Note from Linda Wilke Mar 10, 2005:

At the end of the regular season Peshtigo and Beecher/Dunbar/Pembine are tied for second place with 136 total points. A tie-breaker will be held on Wednesday, March 16th. This tiebreaker will take place at the University of Wisconsin Marinette at 1:00 PM.

The tie-breaker is a six question contest. Each team writes their answer and points are awarded at the end. If a tie still exists then one more tie-breaker contest of six additional questions is held. IF a tie still exists we go to a sudden death round. One question at a time until one team becomes the third place finisher.

The third place team will host the semi-final match on Thursday, March 17th at 1:30 PM.

The results will be posted on the web pages http://www.fmmarinette.com
(Crivitz and Faith Baptist will be called right after the match).

Peshtigo won the tie-breaker today (Wednesday March 16, 2005.) The semi-final match will be held at Beecher/Dunbar/Pembine at 1:30 PM tomorrow (Thursday March 17, 2005).  They will be hosting Crivitz and Faith Baptist.

 Note also:

The top 3 teams play for the money!  Teams 3, 4 and 5 compete in the one match semi-final contest.  Who ever wins the semi-final match joins teams 1 and 2 in the two-match Championship series.
