Internet Banking System

On the Internet Banking System section of our website we use a full range of Internet security measures. Security measures are a combination of industry approved security technologies to protect data for the bank and you, our customer. It features password-controlled system entry, a Veri-Sign issued Digital ID for the bank’s server, Secure Socket Layer (SSL) protocol for data encryption, and a router loaded with a firewall to regulate the inflow and outflow of server traffic.

You are able to protect unauthorized access to your information by using a unique Log-in ID and password.

The information you request from the Internet Banking System that pertains to your accounts can only be accessed with your Log-in ID and password. It is your responsibility to keep your Log-in ID and password confidential.

Do not disclose your Log-in ID and password to anyone. Our employees and associates will never ask you for your Log-in ID or password and cannot provide you with these numbers if you contact them.

Never write your Log-In ID and password on something others may see.

If you believe someone has accessed your accounts without authorization, or if someone has discovered your password or Log-in ID, please notify us immediately to change password or LOG-in ID.

We maintain and grant access to information on our Internet banking System only according to our internal security policies.

Information you submit to our Internet Banking System as well as information we send back to you while you are visiting our Internet Banking System is protected while passing through the Internet using encryption when necessary. Encryption, or cryptography is a method of converting information to an unintelligible code that is unreadable to anyone without the ability to decrypt it. You may update your personal information online through the submission of encrypted E-mail requests sent to our secure administration site. Notification is immediately sent to approved personnel alerting them to the receipt of your request.

Due to the secure nature of your confidential account information, the information is encrypted before it is transmitted through the Internet. We allow only confidential communication to be submitted for transmission if your browser is compatible with our security software. If your browser is not compatible, you will receive a message indicating your transaction cannot be completed because of the security risk.

Once received by us, all secure information is received by approved personnel. Auditing mechanisms have been put into place to further protect your information by identifying which employees have accessed, and in any way, modified, updated or added to your personal information.

Your account information is not permanently stored on our web server. The information only resides on our web server while you are viewing the information. It is permanently stored on our secured corporate computer systems. Our corporate network systems use proven security controls. We employ data security staff whose sole responsibility is to ensure the security of the information we process and store.
