Marinette County

Marinette County's Southeast boundary is situated on the shores of the bay of Green Bay,a finger of Lake Michigan. The county's east & northern borders lie along the Menominee River and borders the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. The county also has the Pike, Thunder, and Peshtigo rivers flowing thru its boundaries, as well as 246 lakes, 89 of which have public access, making Marinette County a fisherman's and boaters heaven.

The county's population is just over 40,000 and contains 17 public parks and campgrounds.

The county seat is Marinette with a population of 12,000. Marinette is located at the southeast corner of the county and is bordered by the bay of Green Bay, Menominee River and the Michigan state line. Oconto County

Oconto County's eastern boundary is situated on the shores of the bay of Green Bay, a finger of Lake Michigan. The county's northern border lies along Marinette County and includes the Oconto, Peshtigo, and Pensaukee rivers within its borders. The county also has over 180,000 acres of National (Nicholet National) & County forest, 340 miles of trout streams, 53 lakes with public access and 29 miles of shoreline on the bay of Green Bay.

The county offers 20 public parks and campgrounds, over 42,000 acres of public land, 200 miles of state snowmobile trails, 100 miles of club trails, and 75 miles of cross country trails as well as 91 holes on 7 golf courses.

The county seat is Oconto with a population of 4,500.

Menominee County

Menominee County's eastern boundary is situated on the shores of the bay of Green Bay, a finger of Lake Michigan. The county's northeastern border lies along Delta County, the northern border - Marquette County, the western border Dickinson County and the south western border is Wisconsin and the Menominee River.

The county offers one state park - J. W. Wells, one state forest campground - Big Cedar Campground, and numerous county municipal parks.

The county seat is Menominee, located on the shores of the bay of Green Bay and the banks of the Menominee river, with a population of approximately 12,000.
