Loan Officer (Ludington Branch)
Job Summary: To develop business contacts, attracting mortgage customers; completing mortgage loan processing and closing.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Meet with applicants to obtain information for loan applications and to answer questions about the process.
- Approve loans within specified limits and refer loan applications outside those limits to management for approval.
- Originate in-house and secondary market loans for qualified applicants
- Analyze applicants’ financial status, credit, and property evaluations to determine credit worthiness.
- Stay abreast of new types of loans and other financial services and products in order to better serve the customers’ needs.
- Collection of delinquent loans
- Project a positive image for the bank through community involvement and protect bank’s image by keeping mortgage loan information confidential.

Job description - Teller (Crivitz)
We are looking for a client-oriented teller to join our banking team. Responsibilities include operating a teller station to perform a variety banking transactions, cross selling bank products, referring customers to appropriate areas when needed, following policies and procedures, providing quality customer service, and maintaining accurate records.
Regular Workdays: Monday - Friday and Saturday rotation
Teller Responsibilities:
- Assists members in person, through drive- ups and by telephone by operating an online teller terminal to process their transactions, which include but are not limited to deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, transfers, check chasing, coin processing and account information.
- Processes special requests including account research, stop payments, direct deposits, ACH, payroll deduction, wire transfers, and safe deposit boxes.
- Concentrates on busing financial relationships with members. Discusses special promotions, and makes member referrals to Personal Bankers, Mortgage lenders and other representatives including arranging member appointments.
- Balances cash drawer and transactions daily in accordance with the banking policy. Seeks recovery for any errors. Communicates errors to members who accounts are affected.
- Opens and/or closes the branch following all applicable procedures and policies.
- Keeps up to date on procedural and policy changes by completing all required training and attending staff meetings. Stays current on applicable banking regulations and security procedures and practices to prevent fraud or other bank losses and to comply with regulatory requirements.
- May assist other departments or branches as needed and when time permits.
- May assist in training of new employees.
- Receives checks and cash for deposit to savings, checking accounts or loan payments. Verifies deposit amounts, examines checks for endorsement and negotiability.
- Cashes checks and pays money from savings and checking account upon verification of signatures and customer account balances. Inspects all checks, bonds, money orders, savings withdrawals to determine their negotiability.
- Assisting in maintaining security through; a) verification of identification of customers and documents b) complying with all Federal, State and Bank procedures and guidelines c) safekeeping of Bank assets.
- Other duties as assigned.
Other Responsibilities:
- Ability to read, write, and comprehend detailed and sometimes technical instructions, short correspondence and memos and ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using how numbers, common fractions, and decimals are normally acquired through completion of a high school educations.
- Ability to operate an online computer terminal, coin processing machine, an adding machine normally acquired through a basic course or one to three months of on-the-job experience.
- Comprehensive knowledge of products, services and procedures needed to process transaction as normally acquired through three to six months of on-the-job experiences.
- Ability to concentrate and pay close attention to detail and be able to closely examine documentation. Requires a high degree of accuracy.
- Analytical ability necessary to research and resolve members problems and locate and correct cash and posting errors.

Physical Demands:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time
- Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, ect.
- Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer.
- Ability to communicate information and ideas so that others will understand. Must be able to exchange accurate information.
- The ability to observe details at close range (within a few feet of the observer).
- Moves boxes weighing up to 25 pounds across office for various needs.
