Current Career Opportunities Available Are:
Loan Officer (Ludington Branch)
Develops Referral Source relationships and Client relationships that result in new loan growth, deposit growth and revenue generating products/services in the Marinette and Crivitz market areas. This includes soliciting, negotiating, underwriting and coordinating the closing of consumer and residential loans. In addition, referrals of equipment, SBA and business loans in compliance with the Bank’s lending policies and procedures. Business development activities include sourcing Merchant Services, Credit Cards, Business Checking and Savings, Cash Management products and services and personal banking relationships. The Loan Officer provides a superior level of customer relations and promotes the “Sales to Service” bank culture through peer coaching, joint market calls, and partner relationships across all business lines and with the branch departments of the bank.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Client Acquisition & Relationship Management
- Proactively seek and develop new business relationships to grow loan portfolio.
- Build trust with clients by understanding their financial needs and offering tailored lending solutions.
- Maintain ongoing communication with clients, ensuring a positive and transparent loan process.
- Responsible for recording and submitting weekly referral/leads in the loan department WIP report
- Develop and maintain both new and existing referral sources in the Marinette and Crivitz market areas that will increase business; generate leads, expand the customer base and develop revenue opportunities. (Attorneys, CPA, Business Leaders, Chamber, Community Organizations)
- Network within the Marinette and Crivitz Markets. Develop one key organization in each market to generate strategic partnerships and build bank awareness through a committee or participation in Community Events as approved by the Head of Lending.
Sales & Business Development
- Originate in-house and secondary market loans for qualified applicants.
- Meet and exceed sales targets by driving loan volume and revenue growth.
- Represent the bank in the community by networking and attending industry events.
- Responsible for partnering with branch Banking Retail team that will increase business; generate leads, expand the customer base and develop revenue opportunities.
- Responsible for meeting the needs of customers by assessing their needs and cross selling products and services
Loan Origination & Processing
- Meet with applicants to obtain information for loan applications and answer questions about the process.
- Approve loans within specified limits and refer applications beyond those limits for management review.
- Evaluate loan applications, including credit history income verification, and collateral assessment.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, new loan products, and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain knowledge of current lending guidelines, regulations, and industry trends.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office and willing to learn banking software programs.
- Maintain an acceptable attendance record and represent the bank in a professional and positive manner.
Certificates and Licenses:
Registered MLO with NMLS (or willingness to obtain—training provided).
Notary (or willingness to obtain).
- Required:
- Associate’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, or 3 – 5 years relevant experience.
- Minimum of 3 years in a sales-driven role with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Preferred:
- Experience in banking, finance, or mortgage lending.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Experience with SBA loan programs

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision. While performing the duties of this Job the employee is regularly required to sit.
