Loan Officer (Ludington Branch)
Job Summary: To develop business contacts, attracting mortgage customers; completing mortgage loan processing and closing.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Meet with applicants to obtain information for loan applications and to answer questions about the process.
- Approve loans within specified limits and refer loan applications outside those limits to management for approval.
- Originate in-house and secondary market loans for qualified applicants
- Analyze applicants’ financial status, credit, and property evaluations to determine credit worthiness.
- Stay abreast of new types of loans and other financial services and products in order to better serve the customers’ needs.
- Collection of delinquent loans
- Project a positive image for the bank through community involvement and protect bank’s image by keeping mortgage loan information confidential.

Retail Teller Supervisor
Job Summary: This position is responsible for successfully overseeing the retail staff in all daily activities, along with servicing the needs of the bank customers by processing transactions efficiently, professionally, and accurately. Maintains the Bank’s standards and provides a high level of customer service. Initiates and opens new customer accounts. Oversees teller operations including assisting with scheduling, supervising and providing work direction to tellers. Assures customers are provided with accurate information and courteous, efficient service regarding customer/bank transactions. Responsible for bank vault and cash funds.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
- Strong leadership and mentoring capabilities
- Provide guidance in making decisions
- Assist Bank Manager with sales efforts by coaching retail staff
- Knowledge of all Retail product offerings and operations protocols
- Coach teller team and providing exceptional client experiences
- Maintains oversight over all Teller functions
- Assist Bank Manager and operations manager in maintaining all bank security protocols
- Conduct various audits on a daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly basis
- Ensure vault and teller balance daily
- Buy and sell cash orders through Armored services and/or Associated Bank
- Represent the Bank in community activities and organizations
- Manage overtime to schedule and approved hours
- Manager and balance individual cash drawer
- Collaborates with branch partners; lending, operations as related to customer transactions
- Provide leadership, coaching and regular one on one meetings to direct reports

Working Conditions:

- Online classes - online classes are assigned for this position and are expected to be completed on an annual basis
- Bank Policies – similar to the online classes, Bank policies are assigned to best fit this position and are expected to be reviewed, understood and signed on an annual basis. Colleagues are also expected to attend internal policy training sessions.

Required Qualifications /Skills/ Abilities
- At least two years retail and/or banking experience
- Strong communication and writing skills
- At least one year of supervisory experience
- Knowledge of banking rules, regulations, policies and procedures

Supervisory Responsibilities:
Direct supervision of the tellers. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the Bank’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include providing leadership, planning, assisting in hiring process, training, assigning work, annual performance reviews, coaching, inspiring, developing, disciplining, and rewarding staff to meet current and future departmental needs.
Electronic Banking Support
Job Summary: Responsible for providing customer support to all electronic banking functions: ACH, debit cards, ATM, telephone banking, online and mobile banking, bill payment, merchant and mobile capture. May assist with operational support such as debit card/ATM card disputes, lost/stolen debit/ATM cards, Debit Card Fraud, Card Security Alerts, maintaining debit card maintenance spreadsheets, balancing functions associated with AT&M and Debit card transactions. Responsible for inputting customer information, reviewing edit reports for accuracy, and backup to safe deposit. Maintains an understanding of state and federal regulations with regards to electronic processing.

- Customer Support for electronic banking function
- Daily input of customer information.
- Daily Edits
- Prepares information request forms.
- Scanning and verifying documents for retention
- Provide back up to other areas of Bookkeeping
- Responsible for some aspects of Internet Banking
- Responsible for some aspects of Mobile Banking
- Project Implementation
